Same here - otherwise I would have jumped on it.

          Thanks Guys,

Anymore thoughts on the paint from anyone ?

I agree with the other guys. The lost of paint on the front is in my opinion not consistent with the wear and tear you would expect to see at the back on the hook and prongs...

Guys, just to be sure - the paint job aside - it is an genuine RODO WSS buckle? IMO it looks real.

The buckle is definitely 100% original, in my opinion. I don't know about the paint. I thought it was original paint at first, but after hearing the opinions expressed, it may not be after all.

                    Hello,

the buckle is 100% original , but IMO the color doesn't maches with this RODO .

With the reduced price the buckle was less than you would normally find one with zero paint. A good deal for the buyer.

The strange thing is, on the obverse side the wear in the paint matches the metal wear quite convincingly well....Bodes

                            Rodo SS Repainted ?

Here is a photo from the other forum. This one has more paint on the front but lots of paint is missing from the prong bar. This seems to be more normal wear.
