I have to disagree. In my opinion, the buckle is a postwar Bundeswehr issue.

yes, it's Bundeswehr, small belt for trousers, made by Overhoff&Cie, Lüdenscheid. This belt-buckle is smaller than normal 4,5 cm buckles. It is still in use by the BW.
