    Aluminium Ss 39/40 buckle repro??

    Hello all, I am posting this SS 36/40 alminium buckle for a friend of me. I said it looks like a fake and he reacted a little sad. He told me he got the buckle from a person who bought it in the 70'ies. To end our discussion I would like to show the buckle to the forum and I would be happy with your opinion, good or bad.

        It's not from the '70s either! These fakes didn't appear until about 15 years ago.
