At first I thought the prongs looked short but having looked again I think they are ok.

Frans, everything looks perfectly ok. Very nice set in fact. N&H also made Luftwaffe tropical buckles. The company's name is Noelle & Hueck in Ludenscheid. They made tropical buckles with web tabs or leather ones. Yours being 1941 is very DAKish.
