Thanks for posting your buckle. Looks fine to me as far as being authentic war period buckle. Face is in great shape...prong slightly bent but nothing bad. Unmarked but it looks to maybe be made by manufacturer R S & S. Richard Sieper & Sohne.

If I'm not mistaken, some of the early ones used the diamond logo rather than 'R.S. & S.'

Are there any markings on back of buckle at all? Believe this is the R S & S Diamond Belten was referring to shown on one of my police buckles. If no maker diamond or R S & S then I might be mistaken about the manufacturer. Schlange is correct as I believe all their buckles should have had the R S & S on them.
