Luftwaffe buckle 1942 black with question

Got this LW buckle today out of the woodwork. Maker is Schneider Lüdenscheid 1942. Now this buckles color seems to be black if i compare with other LW buckles. Did the LW ground troops or Herman Göring units have that ?? It is hard to get the right color on the pics but it is definately not LW blue. First pic is without flash. With flash it is slightly blue.
Opinions are welcome.

I see it as a very dark blue grey,not black ?

Dark blue. I have an identical buckle by this MFG with patina that has transformed to a dark green. Once thought it was a tropical version before I knew what I know now.

Standard Luftwaffe Blaugrau. I have only encountered extremely subtle color differences on mint ones from the various manufacturers.
