    Opinion on Belt and Buckle

    I just found this belt & buckle...forgot I had it. Could I get a few opinions on it as I know nothing about these. Thanks

            That is a distinct and quite unusual marking on the strap catch.

            J J Stahl - as you are probably aware.

            I wonder, is there a makers mark on the buckle body or can the manufacturer be read from the buckles leather tongue?

                What about the stamping on the leather tongue to the buckle?

                Can anything be discerned?

                  I wish I could find something. I went over it again....no marks other than the ones I posted above.
