There is handed down for many years, that SS steel buckles (for example Overhoff unmarked) are the most common SS buckles.
I think that it is necessary to reassess today.
Today - at the age of detectors (last 15-20 years) almost every week in the Czech Republic found in soil many good buckles, but all of a rust-free material such as aluminum, etc. All steel buckles are always completely destroyed by rust, while most of the findings aluminum buckles (as SS RZM 822..) are still as new ..
For example, all SS steel buckles are in the Czech Republic very rare today, to sell there..
Your opinions?
