Is the belt or bandolier marked with maker and date? Are they flexible. Look to be in remarkable shape for an accessory that unfortunately shows a lot of age cracks.

What are the dimensions of the black cartouch box? Just appears to be for an officer, rather than an NCO. Maybe optical illusion.

The set is in remarkable condition. They are flexible but crack a little when I open them up. There is a paper tag on the belt which is I believe is the makers name. The same name is penciled on the back of the belt. The alumonum fittings are marked with Assmanns logo. I will have to measure the box.

Nice looking set. The flash might be making it look brighter than it really is. I have looked at a couple of these white belts and they have aged to a irony color.

Its actually the bright sun light. It is an Ivory color.

That's what I would expect on an original. I was looking at a Police bayonet with a white frog at the SOS. It would go great with your set.

They certainly appear in remarkable condition, congrats.

Is there no maker stamp on the inside of the bandoleer?

Does the buckle have a tab and or maker marked?

                    Hi Dave,

There is an A for Assmann on the aluminum parts.
