Could I please have your opinion on these 2 WWI belt buckles. I am not familiar with them at all. They look period to me but not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

These buckles both appear fine in my opinion and the Model 1916 painted Prussian buckles can often be found in such unissued or like new condition.

I bought some of these almost 40 years ago for $2 each 3 for $5. A guy had a box of them still in the wrapping paper. I wish I hadn't thrown away the paper.
