Heer officer black belt ?

I would like to be sure this belt is what I think it is. It is marked with 110 specifying its length and just on top of the 110 I can see BGS.
The date is fadad to much away to make anything up. Is it a period or post war belt ?

Postwar "BGS" (Grenz. Polz.) duty belt.... (for all ranks...not just officers).... fine for display and makes a great wearing belt for your jeans.... but NOT WW2.
