Hello,
it's a DLV buckle .
The stamp on the belt is 8/1939 B.A. Fü. > Beschaffungs Amt Fürth >
procurement Office in country named Fürth .
This buckles are also worn by early Luftwaffe in 1936 . and later as RLB
1.Mod.
But IMO the tab not matching with this buckle from Assmann . However the owner hast it sewn on ?Last edited by yellow12; 03-10-2014, 04:10 PM.

No, the belt was worn most probably by RAD members, as B.A. ... is a typical RAD stamp.
The buckle together with its leather support tab is perfectly fine and I tend to say that it was worn in the early Luftwaffe. It is not unusual to see tabs on early Luftwaffe buckles marked by a saddler, so this explains perhaps the difference to the maker of the buckle.
Best,
Guido
