Heer buckle makers

Hello everyone, i was wondering if there was any posts in the forum about makers of heer belt buckles. I'm in the process of buying one and it has a leather tab with a 1940 mark and the buckle looks to have B N on it by the catch. Any input would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.
