Opinions Needed on SS Black Leather Belt

I wonder if this is just too good to be true. Any opinions regarding authenticity would be much appreciated.

Here is a black leather Belt which looks unused. It has lots of markings. The inside is stamped: S.S./1257/40 RZM in a circle. Inside leather is stamped: KERNSTUCK. Buckle metal catch end is stamped: OLC.

The belt measures about 43 1/2 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide.

Even if it's not a good one, I would like to know.

Questionable is the stamp with runics like this round double S outer cirkle ?

IMO the belt and the markings (SS 1257/40 RZM double ring) are original
