Strange I'm Not fan on this made , the hook is like the CZ fake, and the end axe
down side is not a WWII german made, the metal is for me strange too.

Sorry, I have to disagree. Ugly catch feet are typical of this maker, more often are round and sometimes even bad soldered. Also look at the prongs with flat tips, another distinctive feature of K. Wurster, you can see them also in his DJ and SA buckles.
This is a good and rare HJ. IMO
this maker is well documented to have both the strange catch feet and flat end claws. I agree with all who have said that this is a good and seldom seen buckle. I have about 8 examples of this maker ; both HJ and DJ and these traits are seen on all of them. Thanks for sharing!
Very interesting buckle for sure ! i looked at SS fat eagle early unmarked buckle and one type has very close cut prongs and roller bar. may be fat eagle ss was made by same firm??may be we can try to compare those in pics?
