          Simone,

Hi, thanks for taking the time to post your pic's again.
Could have been originally produced this way or field expediently modified pre or post war? May rethink about the finish on your buckle it does look too thick (eagle) than the norm.

However, I actually don't know enough of this belt mfg if they produced officer web belts or seen affiliated examples by the LLG Hessen, or even others with aluminum buckles. Nevertheless,,,nice!

I wouldn't trip out though, your belt and buckle are undoubtedly original and I hope to gain something new here.

***Here's another similar unusual combination by this mfg but with a leather tounge. http://www.emedals.com/highlighted-o...-buckle-g12423

It remains the unanswered question, up to the new owner make a decision.

..........and buckle patina is not what I expect by a worn set.

That said, thank you Simone for posting requested pics.

                Hi Ric
Thank you very much for your answers.
I had the opportunity to learn many things about this item.
I mainly collect helmets and gas masks so you can imagine that my preparation is not up on the buckles.
That said, down a bit the price and see how sale proceeds.

                Thank you all for opinions.

                Simone
