    Question about Heer brocade belts

Hi - I have a small collection of buckles & belts. Among them I have this Heer, as well as a Forestry. Both have green stripes. Is this normal for a Heer? What part of the Heer wore green striped belts? Neither buckle has been removed. You could not remove them without damaging them. The Heer has the "H" on it. Thanks for any info! John

No answer from anybody. Does that mean that nobody know whether there is variations in stripe colors for Heer belts? Or does it mean "hey dummy! They are all green" ?

Most Heer brocade are a dark forest green color. There is some variation of color but not much. Heer band officers have red strips but these are rare.

Forestry used the same color as Heer but you will also find Forestry with a Kelly green color. A lot of forestry brocade have the buckle attached with two snaps.

Thanks for the help. MY Forester is not snapped, it is sewn, so that it can't be changed - easily.
