    Hello Landser,
this is an interesting thread about:

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=693983

Personally when I started to collect buckles I use the coin stands... very nice to see but after 20/30 items it was quite difficult to preserve.
So some years ago I decided to pass to a display box.

    Regards
    brus

I found that a high-end cigar box (cedar, with glass top and hinged/latched lid) holds fifteen buckles (3 across, and 5 vertically). The outer dimensions are: 12" long, by 8 3/8" wide, by 2" high. I made a pad for the bottom, using polyester fiberfill, surrounded by red felt. I put the my buckles that are missing the tabs on the left, and the tabbed ones stagger neatly to the right of them.

          Regards,
          Kent G.
