I noticed the mark but did not know what it was . Thanx for looking and letting me know. Still new and learning so any knowledge I can pick up is greatly appreciated .

Luft buckle

Yep as P38 says Herman Aurich original Luft Aurich had a unique stubby little catch like yours on Luftwaffe buckles. Army was different with full extended belt catch. Nice find. timothy
