SS belt and buckle for review

New to this great site and I have an SS belt and buckle that I would like an opinion on. Belt was shortened and end cut down but stitching of strap remains the same. On the inside below stitching is stamped VA and numbers I can't read and 8. On the tab below the catch is a faint double circle and SS runes but you have to catch the light just right to see it and an even more faint partial double circle on the other edge catch is stamped olc. belt has good chance. as i see once it had rzm ss markings. you can look for more marks on belts body?

There is VA SS1938.
