    luft belt and buckle

    hello everyone, picked up a R.S & S luftwaffe belt and buckle today. Just wanted to get some opinions on it and if there were any tips in preserving the leather to keep it from rotting. I hear dry rot is the biggest worry.

    there are also markings on the belt that I can't quiet figure out and was wondering if someone with alot more knowledge could lend a helpful thought.

















    to me the above picture is looks like StuW-Kp, even if that is correct the meaning is lost on me.

    Markings on the belt are :

    JKA : Julius Kremp Lüdenscheid

    ST.u.W-Kp. : Stabs und Wach kompanie

        Leave it alone!
        If not stored in a too dry or too moist environment nothing happens to the belt.

            Luft buckle belt

            Nice rig and beautifully marked as already stated. Yes leave in condition you found anything else could ruin value of it. timothy
