SS Belt with Cross Strap Value

A picker I know picked up this fantastic SS EM belt with the cross strap, everything is marked either on the aluminum fittings or the leather, he wants to sell it and I want to buy it but he is talking $1500 and I'm thing more like a $1000, I don't ever find things like this and need help with it's value.

I agree with Tom. Buckle in this condition is probably worth $700-$800. SS marked belt, strap and D ring.....

This SS set with everything SS marked with a lovely buckle is hard to come by imo,

if you can get it at $1350 that would be a bargain, but i would pay the $1500 to secure this lovely SS rig.

Yes they did. I have a VT Y-strap and all parts on it are marked that way.
