    Hunting Association versus Forestry

    Were the buckles/belts worn by Hunting Association officials the same as those worn by Foresrty officials? If not, can anyone post photos to illustrate the differences between the two?

    Forestry has lots of different buckles but the German Hunting Association didn't have any unique offices buckles that I have ever seen. Both organizations did use green leather belts with double claw buckles.

      The green leather double claw belts were only used by Army forestry and for some time by LW forestry. Bavaria had this type of buckle as well, but covered in green leather.
      Hunting association used the type with silver coloured double claw buckle and had no other specific belt.
