SS dug out buckle-ok or not?

Hi,is this an original piece or aged copy-is it worth a risk? It has traces of green color on the back side....

That's your decision. But note the bad condition and it is further messed with a stupid repair of the catch.

        Best,
        Guido

Do you mean that complete catch is repaired,or just prongs?

I am not crazy about the prongs. I would pass.

No problem with the prongs, but Guido are right, the prongs are riveted in wrong direction

It is original, but damaged by incorrect catch attachment. I don't think it is worth 100 euro.

                  Thanks to all of you!
I decided to take it in exchange,so I gave out my LW kampfmesser
But I think it is worth it,since this is my first SS belt buckle.
Here are some closer photos,it appears to be more like "barn find" rather than dug out piece.
Here are also details of fixed catch, which I think is wartime fix,due to rust and patina.
So,what do you think, was it worth it?

As long you are happy with it

My first ss bukle was a ground dug early piece without prongs,
I remember that I was really happy because it was my first buckle..

                    Enjoy it

                    Cheers

                        Thanks
i was thinking-since there are so many replicas made and sold for 35 euros and more, that this price is not too high for original period piece, with a story, especially since it came from Syrmian front (october 1944.-april 1945.). I,personally, like more items that were in fights than minty ones.
