Hi everyone, I would appreciate your comments for this one as it's the first time I come across this unusual type of Heer belt buckle
I got this buckle today from a friend, who doesn't have a clue about it nor it's origin...
Looks it has been deeply polished on the front and few details are gone, has a bright look. Made of steel (magnetic body).
Back is painted with usual green & marked H.A.42.
Brown leather tab looks to be original & marked H-ARLD 1942. The tab has few stitching missing, but thread in place looks to be period & original.
Thanks,
Yann
