    Identify a unknown belt!! Help!

    Hi guys,

Today a friend of mine was going to throw away this belt, can someone identify it? In my opinion it can be German or Spanish! Willing to heard your opinions!

    Thanks!

German belt and "open face buckle"......same as WW 2 but the belt markings appear to have postwar "Bundeswehr" markings (poss. altered to deceive)....
unless there are other markings on the buckle or belt not shown...I'd say a postwar Bundeswehr belt & buckle....(low value)

See what the other guys have to say....these open faced buckles can be hard to "date" without direct markings or provenance.

Croupon 1080 is simply the leather 'sheet' number, also a kind of quality mark.
Typical period markings, possibly private purchase (Heereskleiderkasse or tailor's shop).
Brown colour, so pre-war or LW. Could also have been worn by one of the numerous paramilitary organisations.
Period piece IMO, do not throw away...
