SS Unmarked Belt & Buckle Rig - Opinions

The buckle is unmarked and has taken what looks like a few shrapnel hits to the face and has a hit to the center at the swastika. You can see some actually dent through to the back. Belt with it is pretty late, looks to even have been recycled. Late steel catch too. I am sure the belt and D-ring are fine, but is the buckle OK too?

    Thanks!

I think you have a fine late war rig there...I like it! Is the adjusting strip a different kind of leather? or maybe replaced?

It is a different kind of leather. Given that there is an oval hole on the reinforcement near the catch from a previous life, it does not surprise me. Has a greenish look to it. Thanks for the review.

            The buckle is indeed original.

Is this an unmarked Assman 155/40 buckle?

                    Harry,

and look closely to the Assmann eagle's head. Notice, between other things, how the Assmann eagle's eye is. Notice as well how the eagle's beak is pronunced.
