Maybe an original W.German belt, and added a olc WW2 hook. Belt is trimmed as W. types are wider and WW2 hooks won't fit thus trimming is necessary. Name appears more like typical W. german period to personalize ,and prevent theft, and I agree , marks are added. original belts have undyed stitching, and is done on a heavyleather stitching machine, this example appears hand stitched , possibly with an awl, as it is poorly executed. But now just get a fake ss buckle add to it,and you have a perfect belt to wear to hold your britches up. OR...if it is for sale ...run away..... Andale! Seems this one was shown here before, or is another abomination by the same source as the other one. I ran into about 5 of the w german versions some time back, and they were asking 5.00 each.
