Last Buckle help request

How about this police buckle for authenticity? This and the SS previously posted are the only ones I need help on. The rest I know are OK.

I don't like the fold over on the edges or the catch or the prong bar. I would pass on this one.

I also have my doubts, Could be OK but I would pass unless I could hold it in my hands. There are hundreds of different variations of Police buckles and also countless fakes of them.

As with Bill and Marc, there are a few features on this buckle which I do not overly like, although the variations on especially war time issue steel Police buckles are high with low quality items often seen. This one however I think is genuine and I have as yet, never seen a fake Police buckle in steel with the raised Overhoff logo as per this one.

Late war probably. Some people have made me paranoid these days…. You know, the forest and the tree…

Agree Marc. To much paranoia out there myself included. I was to busy looking at the construction and totally missed the "olc" logo-probably because I have never seen a mark in this location on a Police buckle. Ayway apologize for the to fast judgement. A good buckle in spite of the construction
