SS Overhoff & Cie Full Motto

The 3 next photos are Jody Beltram SS favorite buckle made by Overhoff with his full motto. Please note position of the motto on this buckle which starts closer to the eagle's wing. This is one of the two variants commonly found. The second variant is with the motto more centered as seen on the next set of photos. Also note how prongs are since there is at least 4 kind of prongs (curved in, short curved in, curved out and straight) used on original Overhoff SS EM buckles produced before the RZM period (1934).

Note also the reverse "&" between Overhoff and Cie which is a common feature of Overhoff buckles with full motto.

Hi Jean,
Many thanks. I was not aware of all of the variations of SS buckles by Overhoff & Cie.

I was a young kid when I got that buckle, and It still rates as one of my favorite pieces.

As promised, here is another "variant" (since at least two buckles have the same feature). There was an attempt to erase the Overhoff full motto, probably by factory itself.
Was it made after war to sell overstock to GI's or for whatever reason ?

Anyway, I will be glad to know if some other collectors in this forum have similar buckle.
