Let us discuss a WH buckle

Hello dear collegues! I'm very glad joining such a great community as Wehrmacht-Awards discussion forum. So this is ny first post and first thread.

It is written in forum rules, that new members are not allowed to attach images in their posts. But also there is written that they "are welcomed to host their images elsewhere and link to them".

So, I want to make sure, if I am allowed to host my pictures at some site (photobucket for example) and insert a link here?

Well, if nobody is against, I'll try to show some pictures.

We have here a steel Wehrmacht buckle. I will be very plesant for opinions, especially about the paint.

Is it a buckle in original well-preserved paint, or just a good buckle, repainted nowadays?

it is need to mention that feature.

This is a painted moveable detail is bended around the axis - cylindric detail.
The axis is covered by rust and not much paint left on it. Maybe it can help in discussion.

If it will be necessary to make more photos - I'll do it.

                  Hello Ric!

Thank you for an answer, much appreciated.

Here is a photo with better lightening. ( The weather gave one sunny day at last )

I agree, I can't see any problems with the paint.
