    Rural police buckle

    I'm going to an estate auction this week and they have this RPB
    buckle there.I have been looking at dealers site with no luck finding one.What is the value of one of these?don't want to over bid.Will try to get down to the sale before it start and get a picture of it.

    A rual police buckle...I would assume its "rural" only under the assumption the tab would be brown and that Gendarmerie used brown leather bits. Retail for a typical TR production police buckle with tab is around $125. Price could always be more or less depending on condition, maker, etc. Pictures would certainly help.
    Interested in the Gendarmerie - Schutzpolizei - Gemeinden - Feuerschutzpolizei - Wasserschutzpolizei - Etc. Looking For Anything Polizei Related!

                Yes the authentic examples are rare and rather expensive. They are found in silver, gold and there is a feldgrau one out there.

                    i know the other variations .

                    Till years ago you bought the gilden one from me in La Gleize

                    I just would say the onely known right variation from LP , is this Assmann .
