SS buckle

I have an SS buckle I am trying to find information on. I dont know much about these and only have two buckles in my collection to include the SS one. If someone could please post a pic for me I would like to get some comments on it as to finish and value.

It is an Assmann marked buckle 155/43

Or is that a Zimmermann?

These images are being posted on behalf of Lloyd.

Although post 1939 is not my area, I am reasonably confident that this buckle is a well known "Assmann" fake.

Perhaps the Forum members would like to dip their toes into the water.
