Meine Ehre Heißt Treue belt buckle help needed

    Greetings all.

I have a Meine Ehre Heißt Treue belt buckle that I would like to sell, and I am hoping to get some guidance regarding how and where to sell it for a fair price, as well as what a fair price would be.

    Pictures can be seen here:

Thanks so much for your time.

    Sincerely,
    ST

For selling - I would suggest e-stand but you will have to buy a membership ($25 for the year). It's the place where you will get the best buck, you could also sell to a dealer but you'd only get 50-60% of what its worth compared to estand maybe 70-80%.

You may also get some PMs from people on here now that they know it's for sale.

      Cheers.

You guys are awesome! Posting my pics for me and everything! Thanks.

I tried to find "e-stand" online but without success. What is the URL?

I was offered $225 for the buckle. Any idea if that is a fair price, or what I might hope to get at e-stand?

            Thanks again!

SS buckles are not my speciality but I think I can say with some certainty that $225 is a low-ball offer for this buckle. An SS collector will chime in here to help you better than I on a fair asking price and approximate market value. Here below is the link for the estand buckles table. As has been said, use requires a $25 annual association membership fee.

              Adam

Using the info you provided I did more searching online, which led me to to a post about a very faint makers mark. I checked my buckle closer and found a mark. It reads:

                  (something) 155/43 (SS)

So, you guys nailed it on the 155/43! (Impressed) What does it mean? Does this impact the value of the buckle?

I would post a picture online, but I cannot figure out how to do so, so here is the link to the photos:

                  Thanks again!

                    Sean,

The full markings viewed left to right are: "RZM (in a circle), 155/43, and SS"

RZM = ReichZeugMeisterei, (National Equipment Quartermaster). RZM marking began in 1934 and was basically the quality control mark. It was applied to NSDAP Party items to denote quality inspection, approved designs, specifications, standardization, etc.

The 155/43 is the maker code for F.W. Assmann, Ludenscheid.

The circled SS marking denotes this being, of course, an SS item.

                    Hope that helps.

                    Best,
                    Adam
