EM Steel Buckle..Opinions please

Hello All, could some one look at the buckle pictured and let me know if it is a rough aged repro or a rough orignal?

I have to admit I am the worst person in the world at identifying good from bad buckles and depend on your expertise

Study the Fakes in the Databank would be a good start .

Hi Mac,
I know you are brilliant at spotting goods from duds.
I did have a look at the database and the buckle I posted looks like the first one on the database...but I am not that good that I can actually make the decision to say Yep a good one...no a dud one.

You did tell me to look at the legs and claws but I still don't know what I am looking at.

I know I am a bit of a dunce!
