              Sorry I am confused; I am not familiar with the terminology with buckles

              So the tab is real (the leather part) but the actual buckle is a repro??

                I am thinking of buying this, are the tab and buckle genuine items, although they may not be original to each other ???

                  The buckle is Fake. The leather tab looks original but without the proper buckle it has little value. Save your money.

                          Jerry It's not an opinion the buckle is fake. I have seen boxes of them at the Max and SOS sold as fake for $8 or 3 for $20. There is a good one at Gottliebs auction, it is well worth bidding on. As for the tab it looks good and if I came cross it for $10-15 I might buy it if I had the right buckle to display it with.

                              Martin..That is a pretty convincing thread by Marc Verstrate! I have bought several buckles from him and read many of his opinions and I have to believe what he says!

                              The leather tab has me puzzled though..
