Am I right as describing this as a costal artillery?
Has the eagle with "M" stamped on the tab
Do these all have a goldish hue?
    thank you

KM Buckle with gold gilt finish

    Maker, RS&S,

Not too sure if these were used by coastal artillery?

      Hi Mac,
I think I was just misasscociating it because of the Km stamp when
I was searching the forum. I think maybe the dicussions I was reading
were the coastal art. were a dark blue or blackish color??

The gold gilt is much more profound once I got the buckle in hand.
I might post a better pic of it this evening.

      thanks

Most coastal art buckles i,ve seen were feldgrau/green with leather tab KM stamped, later dark blue & black were used by heer & coastal art.

All kriegsmarine type of buckles were used by coastal artillery units, gold gilt finish and green ones (with KM stamp on leather tab) and later the dark blue (also used by heer).
