Emil, looks like a genuine Belgian made buckle imo,

but let wait for more opinions to confirm my thoughts.

            Hi Zozole,

i just got my 1st buckle last weekend so i am far from an expert but i can tell you a few things about your buckle, hope it helps.
"Het vaderland getrouwe" is Flemish and basicly means "Faithfull to the fatherland" , the logo on your buckle is that of the Flemish organisation VNV.

            Kind regards, Olivier.

I like the construction, so either original or a new fake, but I feel original,

                  Thanks Guys

I have been talking with the owner of the buckle,
I got the information that it was bought in 2001 from MARC VAN STRAATEN

                  Cheers ..

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

I agree with the others... A genuine Belgian-made buckle featuring the characteristic narrow catch and oversized, bulbous pin head.

                        Best,
                        Adam

Thanks for the pictures! Really nice to see!
But wasn´t the V.N.V later drafted in to the Vlaamsche SS?

                              Cheers
