Water Police Buckle?

    Water Police Buckle?

    This is a typical Police Belt Buckle but it is in gold instead of silver. Would that make it a legit Wasser Polizei??

      It almost looks like a lighting trick, front looks regular, and back different. Did someone ground dig this ?, Are you sure it isn't coated with varnish or something? Just asking , as regular light bulbs make things in photos sometimes look yellow , and halogens don't. Nice find anyway.

        No, no varnish or anything. Just taking pictures at night in the kitchen. Actually forgot to turn on the flash. Buckle is gold all the way around.

          Gold finish was the color used by the Traffic Police as well as the Water Police. And as there were considerably more traffic units in Germany than Water Police.

              Just to add to above, FLL is a recognized producer of traffic/water police buckles with gold finish.
              Interested in the Gendarmerie - Schutzpolizei - Gemeinden - Feuerschutzpolizei - Wasserschutzpolizei - Etc. Looking For Anything Polizei Related!
