    Postschutz buckle for opinions.

    Hi guys!

I know these are quite scarce, but is this one original or not?

    Original
It is a shame that has lost the leather tab

I have the same buckle without a tab. I'm not sure all Postschtz buckles had tabs. Kirby

        Hello Kirby
I have only two Postschutz buckles, both nickelsilver and both with leaher tab but I have also seen these buckles without it, perhaps factory issued.

          Good Postschutz...

Per Kirby, not all Postschutz came with tab. I have 2 without and many with tab.

              Is the buckle magnetic?

schorschi ..Yes that is excellent..I wondered with the look of the metal on the front of the Eagle where it is worn. One would think with nickel it would not be pourous looking.
A very nice example of a very scarce and desirable buckle. Well worn but entry level buckle someone will be happy to see for sale!
I notice the ears on the belt prong ends are not turned down. Perhaps they have just turned up for some reason.
