have had this clunking around in my junk box for while, never got around to figuring out what it was. I'm thinking a repro or just a really crappy production that was never issued.

I believe these buckles to be original. It is a typical late war production. I know worn as well as unworn examples by this maker. It is most probably Gebr. Schneider of Vienna.
