    Help

    Hi to everybody
I need someone to post pics of 2 belt buckles that I just found in a bunch of other German items that I got from the son of a late vet. I know nothing about buckles other than 1 is ss and the other is army. If they are orig WW2 or not I dont know. So I would like to post them and if they are right I want to sell or trade them.
    Thanks

    Good collecting

    Hello Dennis

Without wishing to appear overly thick, what are you asking for ?

If you hold a brace of buckles for appraisal, then why not post them.

Are you seeking someone to do this on your behalf ?

    Regards,

    David

        thanks any way

        Good day to all
I am sorry to say nobody offered to post the pics of the 2 buckles. All I wanted to do was to see if they were orig or not before I put them up for sale or trade. I will not sell repro items as orig to anybody. In my 40 years plus in collecting I have never done that and hope I never do. Thats why on items I dont know much about I get some one who would know to help me.
Thats what I thought this forum is about. Oh well

        Good collecting

            Dennis

            Apologies.

In a rather silly fashion, I thought that your penultimate post was directed to myself and I was actually waiting for your email.

Marc has now solved the problem and I am sure that we all look forward to having a squint at your buckles.

            Regards,

            David

The buckle marked RZM 155/40 SS is an original SS Buckle made by the Assmann firm (RZM/SS contract # 155) in 1940 (/40). It is the Type 2 which is not reproduced as of today (1943 production is but not the 1940 production).
