Mini SA buckle - have you seen one of these before?

Can you take a look at this one and let me know what you think. In comparison to my "standard" SA one it looks a bit different ...

    Thanks!

        Mini SA buckle

Hi Kev, yes, two very nice original buckles. I have the same version marked by Linden & Funcke. These smaller versions were used by the NSDAP youth, they are not as common as the SA buckles, you can find them but they´re getting hard to find. BTW, and more expensive than their big brothers too.
        Cheers, Roland.

          Hello Roland,

Thanks for your input - so is this one also a Linden & Funcke or is it "just" the same style?

When you talk about value - where would you rank these two? They came in a lot for me and so I have no idea ...

Hi, No Linden & Funcke marked their buckles with a kind of helmet and shield plus L & F. There are also many variations on the theme as they were made by many firms and even cottage type industries probably mounted the buckles. As to value, well prices vary with sellers and sites but the large SA ones usually go around 90 US dollars and I´ve seen the smaller versions go for 120dollars up but as I said, depends on seller and site. Check out sites like Warbooty.com or Klaus Butschek antiques and you´ll get someideas. Cheers, Roland.
