Dear all, I do not collect many buckles. But after doing some researches here, I think the following buckle is rare and good. What are your comments? Please reply and thanks.

To accompany this buckle making it into a set, I find this belt. I know that many Luftwaffe DAK belts are fake. I wonder whether this one is good. Also, as I do not focus on belts, I have a stupid question: what are the differences between an Army DAK vs a Luftwaffe DAK belt? Please bear with me and reply. Thanks.

The belt that you choose is a nice original belt but I believe more for Heer troops.

LW troops had blue web belts but also some of this type. What I noticed on a LW belt and buckle rig that always been together is that the colour of the belt is rather more "yellow" that green on this one, and that the webbing is a bit different.

But adding this belt to this very nice LW trop buckle wouldn't really be a mistake.

Just in a color difference. Or so we collectors believe. The reality is that we collectors make more of color variations than they did during the era. Yes, I have buckles and belts which have been together since the war, and some, but not all, match nicely.

Personally, I have my green buckles with green web tabs on belts which are green as well.

I think this belt will do fine. I have noticed at larger shows that web belts overall are getting more scarce. Certainly less than I saw a few years ago.
