Hello all,
does anyone know or have an opinion, if the marking "SS 502/39 RZM" at this alleged SS-officer belt is original? Is there any list of known and proved maker marks for EM or officer belts?
One more word to the belt. Between belt and the tongue with holes there is another black leather tonge, stamped with "95" as waist size. It absolutely looks original sewn together. Does anyone know such a construction from other officer belts?
But main question still is, if the maker stamp is original to this belt.
Another question is the originality of the buckle. Buckle and belonging keeper with prongs are made from zink. The keeper on the belt is made from aluminium.
Because the buckle is in mint condition they probably don't belong together.
But is the buckle original?
Sorry, no other pics.
Best regards, Thomas
