          I Agree the catch looks genuine but the belt looks brand new!!

            Condition is indeed worse for sure, but that can be explained by the fact that iron can rust, not web.

            I do not see red flag on this one.

              I also have a webbing belt, in the same condition.
              Which also have a little rusty on the catch.
              I'm sure mine is good and so also yours.

                I'm just pointing out the fact that the belt looks to have never been used at all but ketch shows some paint wear, never said it was bad.

                    100% originall, one of tens of belts coming about decade ago from Austria, I had few myself... most marked LLG hessen 1942

                      beauty and original belt

                      I have the same factory maker

                      as Michael wrote LLG hessen 1942

                      a lot of these belts was found in Austria in an old train wagon or something.
                      I have a lot of belts from this source - all was genue

                      hook is just rusty

                        Michael, i wasnt sure at all with all the repros going round at the moment, so if i find one of these web belts from the Austrian horde i,ll snap it up
