RLB buckle

There's presently a RLB buckle for sale here, but of all the RLB buckles I've seen, it seems different, (not an expert on these buckles). Everyone I seen is pebbled on both sides, also the inner circle part of wreath, and insignia, inner edges were not peppled but rather lines. Hope I making sense. Is it real, I'm interested in a RLB buckle.

Looks good but the back of the buckle is way more important than the front.

That buckle was originally purchased from forum member Marc Verstraete. It's a common variation. You can see identical buckles on Lakesidetrader and Craig Gottlieb.

Looks fine to me and given they are selling for roughly 3X that price I think it's a good deal. As to it being RLB or DLV that's another issue and still argued by many.
