    the question about the unknown "imperial" belt buckle?

    The friend of mine asked me to find out what belt buckle this is. I do not have idea so any help would be appreciated.

      A copy of a Mecklenburg-Schwerin EM buckle. As a rule I stay away from any buckle with three holes in a row. You will find some Imperial buckles with three holes in a triangle.

        Thank you. I do not collect belt buckes, so I learned something new. It looked good to me, but then I am not an expert on the buckes.

          I agree with Kirby. A bad buckle.The 50mm Imperials will have three or four solder points but not in a row, 45 mm have 2 solder points side to side NOT back to back (some recent Telegraphers buckles are now produced with two solder points going back to front. These are bad. 99% of Imperial; Weimar or 3rd. Reich buckles that have three sold points lined up side to side across the buckle back are reproductions.
