Two Heer buckles -real or fake

Hi I have these for a while -picked them up at a market in South Africa. Are they real or fake? Thanks for help. The first came with an interesting belt attachment. I hope the close up of the number 40 and it looks like three letters interlinked . I think they are B , C and G. Thanks for any comments.

Would the Gustav Brehmer 'keeper' be with the first buckle and would there be any markings on either of the buckles, which I can look for?
