Who made this LW buckle?

Hi - I jist got this LW buckle. It is steel, with a M4/44 Maker's Mark. To the left of the MM is a very faint double ring RZM - or at least I think that is what it is. You can only see about 25% of the design. Any idea who made it, and when? Thanks in advance.

I understand that Paul Cramer buckles are rare. Is that correct? Mine is very dark gray front & back and mint. (Maybe it was VERY dark blue? I am color blind.) I wish I could post a photo, but I can't. What is a mint M4/44 worth - retail? Because of where I got it from I am 100% certain it is original. You ought to see the Bronze Hitler plaque that came with it.
